Perspective Taking: Museum Dioramas

Open to: K–12 Grade Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: In this two-day hybrid session, K-12 teachers will broaden their skills to engage students to bring their own experience, cultural backgrounds, and perspectives while observing and sketching Museum dioramas. The workshop is guided by the New York State Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Framework. Day 1 will be in person at the Museum, and day 2 will be on zoom. Participants will be given interactive homework between sessions for one extra CTLE credit.

4.5 hours of CTLE Credits will be awarded to participants who engage in the entire session.

This two-day session is free.

  • Thursday August 25 from 9:00a.m. – 10:30a.m.
