Learning to Question through Picture Books

Open to: K–5 Grade Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: During this two-day online session, participants will do the following:

  • Learn how picture books can provide opportunities and support for asking questions and defining problems;
  • Learn about why we ask questions, how we ask questions, and who asks the questions all through the lenses of science, picture books, and the museum; and
  • Spend time sharing with peers and planning for implementation.

All participants will walk away with the tools and resources to continue thinking about how to incorporate this work into your practice.

This two-day session is free and offers CTLE credits upon completion.
Key dates:  Both sessions are from 5:00p.m. – 6:30p.m.
