Open to: All Teachers (grades 3 and up)
Opportunity at a Glance: Solar One and the DOE Office of Sustainability are inviting DOE teachers and staff who are interested in climate action to attend the 8th annual NYC Solar Schools Education Program, a professional learning opportunity that includes classroom visits from Solar One. All participants will be provided with the training, curriculum, and supplies they need to integrate solar and energy conservation activities into their coursework or green teams.
Some Additional Information
- This program will offer a total of 10 hours of CTLE professional learning credits.
- Session will occur over 2 Saturday sessions: 1 virtual, 1 in-person.
