Local Memories: Using New York State Fossils to Unearth Past Environments

Open to: K–12 Grade Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: During this workshop, participating teachers will engage with New York State geological history.  Participants will use Museum exhibits and New York State Devonian fossils to uncover evidence of past environments.   Activities will focus on analysis and interpretation of data, with the objective of supporting science students’ development of a critical lens in science learning. 

This in-person workshop is free and offers CTLE credits upon completion.
