Open to: School Librarians
Opportunity at a Glance: Learn how you can support Multilingual Learners (MLLs) in your library by providing resources and instruction. We will have a crash-course in language acquisition and discuss what it means to be a MLL. We will consider who the MLLs are in our community and dig into the resources that best support their needs. Participants will practice incorporating instructional strategies for differentiating content and skills in a library lesson or unit.
