Bookmaking in Schools

Open to: School Librarians, Classroom Teachers and other Pedagogues Interested in Helping Students Produce Picture Books
Opportunity at a Glance: Learn how to center student voices and incorporate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into your instruction through bookmaking and storytelling.  By collaborating with another teacher, or on your own, you can engage the design and inquiry cycles using the resources in your library and in your school. 

This workshop will also prepare you to enter the Ezra Jack Keats competition in the Fall.
