Opportunity at a Glance: Join a full-day, in-person training to receive resources and guided planning time to lead Climate Action Days in your school.
Climate Action Days are a new initiative that take place over four days where every NYC Public School will lead schoolwide climate action. Attendees will receive the following:
- Turnkey lessons and activities with step-by-step “roadmaps” to implementation;
- Resources and programs available from partner organizations; and
- Ideas to incorporate advocacy and justice.
Additional Information
- Funding for substitute coverage is provided.
- Participants can earn up to 6 CTLE credits.
Key dates:
- Friday October 13 from 8:30a.m. – 3:00p.m.: Elementary Schools
- Friday October 20 from 8:30a.m. – 3:00p.m: Middle and High Schools
- Tuesday October 24 from 8:30a.m. – 300p.m.: All Schools
