Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Department of Social Studies and Civics at the Brooklyn Museum for a full day session serving as an introduction to the Civics for All initiative for any teacher looking to utilize the NYC Public School created curricular resources. During the professional learning opportunity participants will do the following:
- Explore the program design and components of the Civics for All curriculum; and
- Consider opportunities for successfully integrating Civics for All into their classroom and school culture.
Participants will leave the session with ready to use resources and materials for civics and social studies instruction.
Lunch will be served.
