Opportunity at a Glance: Everything in school is about language. During this conference participants will do the following:
- Explore how to create an engaging curriculum and classroom environment that encourages all children to formulate and express their ideas, feelings, and opinions through words, books, the arts, play, STEM, and more.
- Learn how language strengthens and supports your kindergartener’s academic and critical thinking skills as well as their social/emotional development in monolingual and dual language settings.
Equally important, this conference will encourage participants to find, or perhaps, rediscover, your voice as an educator.

- Friday March 7 from 5:30p.m. – 8:30p.m. AND
- Saturday March 8 from 10:30a.m. – 4:30p.m.
