Opportunity at a Glance: During this 5-day workshop will explore active learning strategies for deepening your student’s understanding of crucial conceptual models, and help you effectively implement a student-centered, NGSS and NYS Regents-aligned approach to life science education. Participants will engage with key experiments/activities that can help students build critical understanding of these models. The experiments will include the 3 new Regents Bio labs on: feedback and homeostasis; inheritance and variation of traits; and interdependent relationships in ecosystems.
