Opportunity at a Glance: Comic-making and illustration can be powerful tools in any classroom, providing an alternative for students to explore and report their ideas/findings, in a fun, accessible, collaborative, and easily understandable way. Join STEMteachersNYC in this Comic Con-inspired workshop and explore how you can motivate students using some simple techniques for any age group. You will sketch in student mode, and reflect on possibilities and connections in teacher mode.
The workshop leaders will bring their own examples and you will take away lots of new ideas.
