Hidden Voices: Asian American and Pacific Islander History

Open to: Grades K-12 Active Educators (Teachers, Instructional leads, Administrators)
Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Department of Social Studies and Civics as they explore ways to integrate the Hidden Voices: Asian American and Pacific Islanders Curriculum Guide. Attendees of this full-day, in-person workshop will become familiar with Hidden Voices and some of our Civics for All comics. We will consider different ways to integrate resources into the classroom setting.  In addition, participants will tour the Museum of Chinese in America’s exhibition “With a Single Step: Stories in the Making of America” and do a connecting activity with Hapa.me, a groundbreaking follow up exhibition to Part Asian, 100% Hapa.

Lunch will be provided.
