The Jewish Museum at Home: Teaching with Lois Lowry’s Number the Stars – Online Educator Workshop

Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for an online workshop that explores the book Number the Stars, a work of historical fiction by American author Lois Lowry about the escape of a Jewish family in Denmark during World War II aided by the Danish Resistance.

Lois Lowry, two-time recipient of the prestigious Newbery Award, speaks live about her novel and her work as a writer. The talk will be followed by a Number the Stars themed virtual tour with a Museum educator exploring works of art in the Jewish Museum’s collection.

A Zoom link will be emailed to you one day prior to the program.

Participants may receive 1.5 CTLE hours.
