Opportunity at a Glance: The recently released graphic novel, Welcome to the New World, presents the perfect opportunity to bring the refugee experience to life. Join us for a free, online teacher training that will guide participants through the graphic novel, a free mini-curriculum for 7th – 11th grades, a discussion guide and various methods of telling immigrant and refugee stories in the classroom. Participants will also hear from and be able to pose questions to the author.
