Opportunity at a Glance: The Division of Multilingual Learners (DML), in partnership with uAspire, is hosting a professional learning series for high school counselors, teachers, and Parent Coordinators on how to facilitate English language learner (ELL) student applications for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the New York State Dream Act, which allow all students regardless of immigration status, to access New York state grants and scholarships to fund higher education. The learning series will include 3 sessions: Financial Aid and College Affordability Planning, FAFSA Completion part 1 and part 2.
Key dates: Three part series: January 28th, February 3rd, and February 4th from 2:00p.m.–3:30 p.m.
