Opportunity at a Glance: In collaboration with Cornell Tech and NYC Men Teach, CS4All is presenting a remote fireside chat with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Colson Whitehead on Monday, March 1st at 4:30pm. Participants at this virtual event will have the opportunity to hear author Colson Whitehead read excerpts from his Pulitzer Prize-winning book, The Nickel Boys.
After Colson Whitehead’s talk, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in critical yet casual conversation to explore the messaging we send to Brown and Black children in the classroom. In addition to, how particularly in computer science, teacher representation matters.
