Migration, Race, and Social Justice: Texts Written by Asian Americans That Will Revolutionize Your Classroom

Open to: All Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for an interactive experience as Jafreen Uddin, Executive Director of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, guides us in an exploration of Young Adult Fiction by Asian American writers.

Together we will explore texts that focus on issues of migration, race, and social justice.  Ms. Uddin will also explore a writing process model that can support our students toward becoming the next generation of the avant-garde.  Leave with free, ready to implement, curricular materials that are perfect for both in-person and online learning.
