Opportunity at a Glance: The NYC Department of Education is investing in rebuilding our school libraries! Join the Department of Library Services and Mackin Educational Resources to learn how your school can apply to win a Library BUILD Up Grant or Library BUILD Opening Day Collection. One hundred (100) $5,000 Library BUILD Up grants will be awarded, and five (5) $200,000 Opening Day Collections will be awarded. To be eligible to win, your school must have a teacher-assigned to the library or a NYSED certified school librarian.
