Opportunity at a Glance: Join us on Monday January 31st, 2022 for a day of online professional development about liberation at the end of the Holocaust. The program will feature lectures by two scholars, who will illuminate the stories of survivors as they sought to rebuild their lives and discuss the experiences of both Jewish American and Black American soldiers who witnessed the aftermath of the atrocities committed by the Nazis. Participants will also hear from a descendant of a survivor, who will share her grandmother’s story of liberation.
