Opportunity at a Glance: Expanding Essential Writing Practices will empower participants to reshape their literacy instruction and integrate 21st century practices into writing lessons, help students to create and connect with the world around them.
During this course participants will do the following:
• Increase students’ ability to effectively communicate through writing;
• Integrate meaningful writing tasks into non-ELA lessons;
• Level up writing prompts as an ELA teacher; and
• Support students in evaluating and creating written information.
