Participate in a Virtual Educator Workshop, Movies That Matter: H.A.G.S. (Have a Good Summer) at the Jewish Museum

Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a workshop in conjunction with the Movies that Matter program at the Jewish Museum. View Have a Good Summer (H.A.G.S.), a short documentary film by Sean Wang described as a portrait of growing up told through the pages of the filmmaker’s middle school yearbook. 

During the workshop participants will do the following: 

  • Participate in a Q&A with the filmmaker; and
  • View and discuss works of art in the Jewish Museum’s collection that connect to themes of identity, immigration experiences, and belonging.

Program fee: $10; self-contained special ed. teachers may register for free by emailing schoolprograms@thejm.org.
Key dates:  Wednesday July 20 from11:00a.m. – 12:30p.m.
