Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a fascinating deep dive into the Harlem Renaissance through an LGBTQ lens. We will investigate some of the music, poetry, art, and more that prompted historian Henry Louis Gates Jr. to claim that the Harlem Renaissance “was surely as Gay as it was Black.”
Our special guest, Twiggy Pucci Garçon, will highlight the Harlem Renaissance’s influence on today’s world as well as their own personal and professional connection to the ballroom community.
