Opportunity at a Glance: During this Lighthouse Collaborative visit, participants will engage in visits focused on how Kingsborough Early College Secondary School (KECSS) hones in on assessment strategies through the lens of equitable competency-based grading and assessment practices as well as individualized instructional practices. Visitors will explore and analyze instructional and assessment classroom practices, and school-wide grading and assessment systems and structures. After visiting classrooms, visitors will attend differentiated breakout sessions to explore competency-based grading systems, supports, and practices.
