Opportunity at a Glance: Join the NYC DOE Office of Sustainability for a one-hour learning opportunity on air quality in New York City and how it affects our health. Participants will leave with a better understanding of air pollution, its links to public health, and why it is important. In a addition, participants will receive links to resources that can be brought into the classroom to talk about air quality and health with students.
Jayeda Hossain is a 2022-23 fellow with the NYC DOE Office of Sustainability through the John D. Solomon Fellowship for Public Service. She is a master’s student in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
