Opportunity at a Glance: Join us for a full day of professional learning as we explore the stories of people who have made contributions in the struggle for civil rights but are not household names, therefore; Hidden Voices. The Paley Center for Media will share resources that they have and we will have a special screening of the film Punch 9 for Harold Washington followed by a panel discussion with the director. The NYCDOE Social Studies department will share the latest Hidden Voices resources and model ways to bring this all back to the classroom.
