Incorporating Google Scholar and EBSCO’s Academic Search Premier Into Your Information Literacy Classes

Open to: Grades 9-12 Teachers, School Librarians, District Librarian Supports and Administrators
Opportunity at a Glance: Join Patricia Sarles to learn tips, tricks, and advanced search operations for using Google Scholar and why this service is a valuable addition to teaching database skills to your high school students.  There is much more to it than its single search box interface. 

During  this session, participants will compare Google Scholar with the traditional, proprietary EBSCO database, Academic Search Premier, available from the NY Public Library (NYPL). NYPL librarians will also be presenting.

Participants will be eligible to receive 3 hours of CTLE credits.
