NOVELNY Databases for the Beginner

Open to: Grades K-12 Teachers, School Librarians and District Librarian Supports
Opportunity at a Glance: Join Patricia and Vincent to learn about NOVELNY databases.  These are vetted resources from the New York State Library available for free for student research.  School librarians will learn how to use these resources to help students identify what they should know and be able to do with databases; read them, cite them, evaluate them, and navigate them. We will substantiate their use by tying these resources into the ESIFC assessments and culminating products.

Participants will be eligible to receive 5 hours of CTLE credits.
