Opportunity at a Glance: The Museum displays thousands of natural history specimens. Everywhere a visitor turns presents an opportunity to observe science phenomena that are difficult to replicate in a classroom. During this three-hour workshop, participants will do the following:
- Engage with the Museum’s collections and live exhibits to seek;
- Sketch patterns in nature;
- Generate questions; and
- Integrate observational strategies in and out of the classroom.
