Opportunity at a Glance: The Office of Safety & Youth Development, in partnership with Harmony SEL, will be hosting two unique virtual professional learning sessions on implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) content designed for students in grades Pk-6. The professional learning sessions will focus on the following:
- Session 1 (ID 1065) will focus relationship-building practices through student-driven goal-settings, as well as Meet Up and Buddy Up activities.
- Session 2 (ID 1066) will explore the newest edition of Harmony’s Lessons & Activities portion of their program, designed to teach explicit SEL skills.
Key dates: Wednesday September 6 from 9:30a.m. -11:00a.m., and ongoing virtual and in-person trainings throughout the year
