Opportunity at a Glance: This session will introduce participants to the unique affordances of digital media and technologies in museums by exploring resources produced by the Museum’s Education, Exhibition, and Library departments. Please see below for session details.
Session Details
- Session 1: We will go over materials and resources available online that can be used for pre and post museum visit activities.
- Session 2: We will explore the museum’s new Insectarium to identify digital media and technologies (such as videos, touchscreen kiosks, interactives, and more) that can be used to support learning during onsite field trips to the Museum.

- Wednesday October 18 (Online) from 4:30p.m. – 6:30p.m. ET
- Saturday October 21 (In person at the Museum) from 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. ET
