Open to: Teachers Who Have an Students with Disabilities Certificate OR a Bilingual Extension
Opportunity at a Glance: NYCPS is excited to offer NYC Extended Certification Programs, enabling qualified, current NYCPS teachers to pursue one of the following tuition-free graduate programs:
- A Students with Disabilities (SwD) certificate if they already have a bilingual extension, OR
- A bilingual extension if they already have an SWD certificate.
Participants will work in their current school during the day and complete virtual graduate courses at night, working toward an additional certificate in one year. Accepted teachers commit to teaching in their new license for two years.
