Opportunity at a Glance: The Latinas On the Verge of Excellence (L.O.V.E.) Mentoring Program empowers young women through mentorship and health education.
The L.O.V.E. school-based program is delivered during the academic year in partner schools as a class for female-identifying students. From September to June, mentors and mentees participate in weekly, hour-long sessions guided by a curriculum consisting of four core components: mental health, reproductive health, college access, and career readiness.
L.O.V.E. works with partner school budgets to develop successful partnerships.
