Open to: Grades 6–12 Teachers
Opportunity at a Glance: During this special workshop, join Dr. Denise Su from the Institute of Human Origins at Arizona State University to learn how we became human. What were the major steps humanity took to become the dominant species on earth? What can we see in our bodies and in the things we do that reflect this history?
We will hear directly from an expert in human evolution, visit the newly updated Hall of Human Origins, and have an open discussion on incorporating this understanding in your classroom to promote an integrated worldview in your students.
This session is free and offers CTLE credits upon completion.
