Opportunity at a Glance: ICS in partnership with the NYC Social Studies and Civics Department will host a session that explores primary sources. Primary sources include the following: whether texts, images, artifacts, or audio-visual recordings – expose students to multiple perspectives on important topics of the past and present, as well as help students develop critical inquiry skills.
This interactive session will introduce teachers to a variety of source analysis tools and the ways they can support their instruction.
Key dates: Wednesday January 8 from 4:00p.m. – 5:00p.m.
