Opportunity at a Glance: Back for a second year! K-12 educators, join this three-day professional development conference hosted by the NYC Public Schools Office of Energy & Sustainability in partnership with Subject to Climate and Teachers College, Columbia University.
Select one of five tracks for climate education: STEAM, English Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and additional subjects (Food/Wellness/Arts/Electives). At the end of the Climate Institute, you will deliver a coded scope and sequence with identified entry points for climate education lessons.
The Climate Institute is two days in-person, and one day virtual. You must attend all three days.

- Tuesday February 18 and 19 from 9:00a.m. – 3:30p.m. (In person) AND
- Thursday February 20 from 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. (Virtual)
