Opportunity at a Glance: The Roots ConnectED Inclusive Practices Institute explores how inclusive mindsets and practices support anti-bias schools. Using Universal Design for Learning (UDL), participants will consider how to develop goals for units and lessons that increase student access to learning.
During this institute participants can expect to:
- Observe (live) model lessons and classroom practices
- Develop/refine a shared mindset around inclusion
- Explore curricular and planning examples based on Universal Design for Learning
Leave with clear goals and actionable next steps that impact inclusive design of PD for staff and instructional practices for students.
