Opportunity at a Glance: The Designing for Belonging Institute is a hands-on, 3-day experience for school teams ready to build classrooms rooted in belonging, representation, and inclusive practice. With classroom observation, collaborative discussion, and practical planning time, participants will explore how to do the following:
- Build a shared mindset around anti-bias teaching and cultures of belonging.
- Observe model lessons & classroom moments that center identity.
- Design/refine curriculum using representation, critical literacy, and social action.
- Make small, meaningful shifts that lead to inclusion.
