Predators: Conflict and Conservation

Opportunity at a Glance: During this hybrid professional development course teachers will join us to explore the truths behind misunderstood predators.  This is an engaging science and social studies course, which looks at how history, media, and culture have shaped human perceptions of predators.  The professional development course will also feature in-person sessions at the Bronx Zoo and asynchronous online learning.

Additional Course Details

  • Teachers who are eligible can earn 45 CTLE hours for and 3 P Credits or A+ credits
  • Cost: $250

Key dates:  Time for the following dates will from 8:00a.m. – 4:30p.m.

  • November Tuesday 4, 11 (Onsite at Bronx Zoo);
  • November Monday 17, 24 (Online asynchronous); and
  • December Saturday 6, 13 (Onsite at Bronx Zoo)
