Opportunity at a Glance: During this one-day workshop, teachers will do the following:
- Utilize primary source documents from our Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) archives to learn about the history of bison in the United States,
- Discover how genetic information is used in population management: and
- Hear from experts telling conservation stories.
Participants will Leave with practical ways to implement activities into your classroom and how to encourage students play a role in the future of these animals.
Additional Course Information
- Course is eligible for 6 CTLE hours.
- Cost: $50 per person; $40 for members and groups.
