Opportunity at a Glance: Join The New York Public Library’s Center for Educators and Schools and Hasta ‘Bajo Project (HBP) in a conversation about the vital role women play—as subjects and creators—in shaping the genre of reggaeton.

View materials from HBP’s archives and discuss how students can learn about history, migration, identity, and music through reggaeton.  In addition to, exploring how women have shaped the genre through experimentation and delve deeper into the connection between reggaeton and NYC culture. Whether you are a well-versed connoisseur of reggaeton or want to learn more about the hype, there will be something in this workshop for everyone.
