Opportunity at a Glance: Explore early 20th century Jewish immigration to the United States in relation to this country’s larger immigrant story. Using primary sources, participants will discuss push and pull factors for Jewish immigration between 1880 to 1924, describe Jewish American life in New York and grapple with the repercussions of the 1924 Immigration Act.
