Opportunity at a Glance: This program will have the following 4 components:
- A lecture from NYU professor Avinoam Patt about the year of 1938 in relation to the Holocaust.
- A lesson in learning why teaching with artifacts is a useful pedagogical tool and how to use artifacts to enhance your teaching.
- An opportunity to listen to a survivor’s testimony told by the descendant of a Holocaust survivor.
- The opportunity to find out more about what the Museum can offer your school at our Open House session.
This program has a one-time tax-deductible fee of $18.00. Scholarships to cover the fee are available. To apply for a scholarship, please email: education@mjhnyc.org.
Participation in this full-day program is CTLE credit eligible.
