Opportunity at a Glance: Join the Billion Oyster Project to explore a brand new, fully standards-aligned unit: The Harbor Ecosystem.
During this informational and interactive workshop, teachers will do the following:
- be introduced to the new unit and gain access to all lesson plans and materials;
- spend time exploring the classroom activities, engaging in student hat moments followed by teacher hat discussion;
- become familiar with oysters and the role they play in the NY Harbor ecosystem; and
- connect with other teachers in the Billion Oyster Project Community.
