Opportunity at a Glance: Join TeachRock and the Department of Social Studies and Civics for a day of professional learning at the Museum of the City of New York. During this Professional Learning opportunity participants will do the following:
- Explore TeachRock’s resources and discover how to use music as a primary source pedagogy;
- Investigate Passport to Social Studies and Hidden Voices curricular materials about Latinos in popular music; and
- Engage with a multiple exhibitions at the museum, Urban Stomp, Songs of New York ,and New York At It’s Core: World City
This session is part of the 2025-2026 Rock and Roll Classroom Professional Learning Tour.
