Opportunity at a Glance: Join STEMteachersNYC for our Deconstructed Journal Clubs: Decoding Journal Articles w/Inquiry! workshop. During this workshop participants will discover a flexible, student-centered approach that helps students confidently read and make sense of journal articles in any subject. We will also explore real classroom examples while building strategies to support data analysis, prediction, and discussion. Whether used whole-class or in small/student-led groups, this approach strengthens scientific literacy, critical thinking, and students’ ability to engage with complex ideas.
