Join us at Lessons From the Stacks: Declaring America

Open to: Social Studies, ELA, Art
Opportunity at a Glance: Join New York Public Library in midtown for a workshop that explores Declaring America: Beyond 1776, a suite of three curriculum guides that invite educators to examine American history through multiple lenses: how power is structured and challenged, how people claim belonging, and how art and expression give shape to those ideas. Drawing on primary sources from the Revolutionary era to the present, the guides highlight how individuals and communities have interpreted, questioned, and reimagined the nation’s promises over time.
Eligible NY State educators can receive 1.5 CTLE credit hours for participating in this session. Light snacks will be provided.
