Opportunity at a Glance: How do you teach your students about globalism when it is shaped by colonialism and imperialism?
During this workshop participants will do the following:
Learn from Met curators about the connections and exchanges in Europe and the Middle East in the 19th century at a time when shifting geopolitics hastened artistic exchange between distant regions and different cultures.
Discover how art unravels the complexities of colonialism and encourages powerful dialogues in your classroom, through in-gallery and studio-based sessions.
