Opportunity at a Glance: Come plan your field trip with us. Field trips to the Museum create opportunities for students to explore real objects and connect classroom curriculum to the world outside the school. In this session, field trip support staff will guide teachers in designing a field trip that is accessible, engaging, and centered on school standards and student curiosity. We will share best practices for planning and setting up a trip to the Museum, explore some of the Museum’s halls, introduce resources designed by Museum Educators, and provide an opportunity for collaborative planning.
