Express Interest in the NYC Specialized Teacher Enhancement Pathway (NYC STEP) Program!

Open to: All teachers.

Opportunity at a Glance: The NYC STEP program offers a supportive and school-embedded training program for current teachers to leverage their skills and experiences to meet the needs of specialized student populations in their school community and earn an extension. During the 2019-20 school year, NYC STEP will have two cohorts: a Bilingual Extension Cohort and a Secondary Special Education Cohort. Successful completion of the program will provide participants with the opportunity to apply for credit equivalency and a bilingual extension or a students with disabilities 7-12 generalist certificate. Key dates: 2019-20 school year with a training in mid-August. 

Location: Various school based locations (see FAQs).

Registration deadline: Friday, July 12.
