Workshop: Develop Information Literacy in your Students

Open to: All Teachers. 

Opportunity at a Glance: Learn methods for teaching students to be critical readers and savvy analyzers of media and information. Participants will learn how to analyze information vertically and laterally for authority and purpose, how to evaluate evidence to support an argument and seek additional sources of information to verify author/website claims, and leave the session with instructional ideas for how to teach students to critically analyze media and information. Eligible for 5.5 hours of CTLE credit in content.
